Does anyone have any insight as to when/how Appeal decisions are communicated. I am wondering if the communication process mirrors the Feb. 9th process where everyone is informed at once or does UF let you appellants know as soon as they decide?
Givens:
Yes, the Appeal acceptance likelihood is minuscule, so I know that repeated heartbreak is inherent;
There’s very little definitive information as to communication process; and
I operated within the new and compelling blueprint when I appealed, but even so…
I’ve followed the UF thread since I started my Senior year and I must say that UF Members that contribute to this CC Forum are, by far, the most well informed/patient/kindest/generous Members on CC. Thanks y’all.
Appeals are generally completed in the order they are received and you receive a letter in the mail with the answer.
Thanks @Melissa96, so there’s no reason to keep checking my on-line status continually in hopes that something positive will show up there.
And the wait begins…
What about a term change request? I was told that those won’t be going out until late April, but does anyone know how that would be communicated?
A term change request will be sent by email.
Thank you, @Melissa96 . One other question. Do you know if I would have had to already accept my admission to UF in order to be granted the term change request? I was accepted for PaCE, but because of a change in major between my application date and the admissions date, I will be unable to accept the PaCE decision (no path to that major through PaCE, and they don’t recommend trying to make it happen). I have not accepted admission to any other university, either, as I’m hoping to know all of my options prior to accepting. Thank you for any information you can provide.
Well, very few, if any, students would be moved from PaCE to Campus but if there are actually some, I imagine they will start with the students who have already deposited and are for certain coming to UF.
