<p>Could someone tell me whats appealing about columbia cause i havent visited the place and i havent researched much about it. Tell me something so i can read up on it.</p>

<p>Many students choose Columbia because of its NYC location - it's right on Broadway, and surprisingly has an attractive and well-defined campus. New York offers a huge number of opportunities - including clubs, culture, dining, internships/jobs, etc.</p>
<p>A few years ago, a survey showed that "campus location" was a much bigger factor for students who chose Columbia than for students at other Ivies/elites.</p>

<p>I decided my ed college like one week before the deadline and i aplied on time, so i'm not too worried. (i got defered cause i didnt give the toefl, i thought i didnt have to cause it said so clearly in the instructions)</p>
