Appealing to change major to physics

<p>First i signed up as electrical major and i guess that was a big mistake
now im trying to appeal and saying if i can try physics or pol sci instead and there was a reason that my gpa was low which ill put in my letter.
Plus im planning to ask my physics teacher who i had for Physics HP, TA and Physics IB(All A's) to write a letter of recommendation for me and we were pretty close.</p>

<p>would putting physics better then trying to get in as undecided?
or is physics competitive as engineering?</p>

<p>First, were you accepted or denied yet to UC Irvine? If you were denied, then I don't think you can do much to be accepted by changing your major.</p>
