AppleCare worth to buy?

I looked up the price of AppleCare for my Macbook and it's soooo expensive...do u think it's worth the investment for 2 more years of warranty?

yes it's worth it. not sure how old your computer is or if you're trying to extend it's warranty. whatever the case, apple will charge you up the ass to make repairs if you don't have warranty. considering their applecare plan covers 3 years full protection, i'd say its' pretty much worth it. i got applecare for my mac mini for 3 years for 100 bucks and 3 years for 120 for my sister's refurbished imac. now if one of those machines goes bad i don't spend another dime for apple to fix them.

It was definitely worth it for my iPod, which broke multiple times after the original warranty expired.

Yes! Just got the memory board and hard drive on S's computer fixed for FREE after a year and a half. We would have had to buy a new computer.

Agree with the above posters. Have the warranty on my Ds ipod and it has definitely been worthwhile. Also have it on her laptop (not an apple but same principal) and it has paid for itself.

Worth it. !

you need to buy it. i love mac's, but they have a wide and invariable history of breaking down. especially the batteries. everyone i know and myself has had to order a new battery through applecare.

yes. worth it!
also don't put beverages by the computer.
sounds simplistic but . . . .

yes definitely worth it. I have an ibook and over the summer my entire hard drive crashed and they fixed it all for free.
