applicaiton essay question

for the gtown college, the prompt asks to relate goals to major, and how georgetown college would help you achieve goals

for those who are writing it (or not! i could use any help!)---

are you just writing generally about your intended major and career goals?

or specifics about classes, what you will take, etc.

i just have a general outline of my major, career goals, and how a degree at gtown will help mw achieve goals...its VERRRYYYYYYY general.

any suggestions//opinions?

i basically dont know how to answer the prompt!!!

Bumping this--I'm facing a similar situation.

Do they want a formal "I want to do ___ because _____ and I think Gtown can give me that because ________" or are they looking for something more creative. Or is it open-ended? I'd prefer creative, it gets difficult to do the former--I always feel awkward simply listing out reasons on paper.

...Anyone have any answers?

I just did my why gtown essay and used both general and detailed statements. I mentioned the names of some classes and profs, career goals, resources, etc.

thanks for the resposne.

i put future career goal, location, and my desires overall in life, and a little about why i am interested and what i will learn.

its not very creative, but i dont see how one can be too original, given such a prompt.

anyone else, im sending in EA, and i could really use the help? any advice as to what i should include?
