Hey guys!
Earlier this year, I was considering applying to UMich as a Biology major. My school is ranked as a top 10-15 High school in my state, and it’s notorious for being rigorous (almost 70% Asians/ V. tryhard). Regardless, since most of the super-smart people in my school were either deferred or rejected ED from their colleges of choice, almost all of them are applying to UMich. The only difference is that most of them are applying to either Ross business or engineering. I was wondering whether I would be put in the same pool as them because I’ve heard that business students also have to apply thru LSA. If this is the case, I have a negative chance of getting in. If they are put in the same pool as me, do you think it would be better/possible for me to apply for nursing and switch to biology later? Thanks for the insight.
You can apply to business through any of the Michigan colleges. The colleges with the lowest average admission stats not requiring special talents are Kineseology, Nursing, and LS&A. Art+Architecture and SMTD require an audition or portfolio.
Awesome. Thanks!
