Applicants being REconsidered ITT..

If you have been declined, and are being reconsidered, post in here, and keeps me/us updated and informed.

Declined with 2.85 50 hours

Reconsidering a 3.0 63 hours

moved to step 4 today

3.1 liberal arts

3.6 college of education & human development

declined with 33 hours and a 3.5

48 hours as of right now, but after this summer class i’ll have 51

wow,

xkristi19x, is the college of education pretty competitive?
Sounds like it if you didn’t get in with a 3.5…

kristi, did you send in your 48 hours for reconsideration?

mcalvelloxx: i didn’t think they were this competitive. i know they have a great education program though. i talked to the dean of education and he said after reconsideration it “looks” like i’ll be in.

he said the only reason i was denied was because i didn’t have the second math completed prior to applying which at my community college is 1325 (or at a&m it’s math 151). at the time the only minimum requirements were 2 sciences and 1 math. however, this isn’t the case for fall 2009 transfer apps into education. they have to have 2 maths and 2 sciences, but i wasn’t informed and there was NO information about this online or in the transfer book either. so that kind of irritated me lol

and toast11: yepp i did send in spring grades, but the transcript they got was with 45 hrs because my minimester course ended the same day spring grades were due (june 1st) so, my minimester grade wasn’t posted until after june 1st…

oh and i have another question for ya’ll! i got a scholarship to another university but i have to accept it by this friday! idk if i should hold off for a&m and decline the scholarship or go ahead and accept the scholarship and forget about a&m seeing as how we’re supposed to find out in july… i’m stuck. what would ya’ll do?

1325 is Math 142. Math 151 at A&M is Engineering Calculus I, and I know they don’t require that for Education majors. No biggy, just thought I’d correct your statement.

ahh you’re right. my mistake.
