Oh no! I hope he gets in but he has 8 acceptances so far and some hard choices to make. If he gets in AND they give him good money this is going to be tough!

i applied under the ED 2 plan but due to the unavailbility of aid for International students my application was placed in regular applicant pool. Now I am anxious waiting for the decision. When is the decision coming anyway. will it be emailed or sent by mail.

well to all the applicants, best of luck!!!! :-)

I got in with $12,500 a year! wooo

I got in with $15,000 a year and was quite excited.

My son was waitlisted, but that's ok. He applied to 10 schools and had 8 acceptances and 2 waitlists. No outright rejections, which is kind of nice. He has plenty of options so he is not waiting on his waitlist schools. I do wonder if financial need played a role in the waitlisting however.

congrats too all! if there are any questions, feel free to site mail me. I will try my hardest to respond faster.

S2

...I got rejected. I was pretty sure I was going to get in, so was my college counselor. It was my second choice school so I'm pretty down about it.

arky- it's tough and feels lousy to receive a decison that isn't anticipated. While it probably isn't much comfort, I think the University is in the mist of an academic transition that makes it difficult, at best to predict outcomes. Not to mention the fact that you are a female, and they presently have a disproportion number of females on campus. This probalby was an unspoken factor.

Best wishes during this stressful time.

accepted! got my letter on tuesday
