If you have, when did you submit your application?

Past applicants, did you get an interview and did most people you know who applied get interviews?

Past applicants, did you get an interview and did most people you know who applied get interviews?

I have. I submitted mine sometime in November, but got contacted last week.

I guess I count as a “past applicant” now :)

Interviews are given to 50% of all those that are in the applicant pool. Do NOT think getting an interview means a lot. I was never interviewed, and was accepted into the Vagelos LSM Dual-Degree program. Another applicant from my school was, and he was flat-out rejected from Penn.

So, the moral/lesson of the story: As an RD applicant, you will be contacted on or before Feb 29, 2012 about an admissions interview. If you don’t get one, relax–you still have a chance! If you do get one—give it your all!

Do you think that it’s more for students who are not in the “Definitely Accept” pile and not in the “definitely reject” pile either?

I haven’t been contacted. But for reasons above, not worried. :)

@4yorkshiremen: Not really. It’s completely random—unless you applied for Nursing or M & T. Those applicants are almost required/guaranteed an interview. Most of the time, it may be via Skype (for those applicants).

Thanks hardworking21 Reassuring information. By the way, congrats on the acceptance!!! :D

I was emailed for a phone interview because I applied to M&T. However, he hasn’t replied in several days.

@AforAmbition: Thanks! Good luck to you! Hope you’re a Quaker Class of 2016!
