<p>Does anyone know how long it takes for school brochures to arrive? I sorta requested some yesterday and I have a feeling I asked for them too early.</p>
<p>for me, it was around 2 weeks - 2 months… not kidding. and some schools never sent me a viewbook (YES LOOMIS THIS MEANS YOU) 
i would definitely advise against requesting too early, i was thinking maybe that was why loomis never sent me one… also could have to do with the fact that i live in canada. but i live super close to the border anyways, sheesh</p>
<p>No its fine. Some of them will send you their old viewbooks and may or may not send you the new ones when they come out. I personally requested all of mine in June so you should be fine.</p>
<p>I requested information at around this time, and I received them within a week or two. But I actually got the old viewbook for a lot of schools, and then they sent me a new one later.</p>

<p>Also, I had no idea FA worked liked that - I didnt apply for FA, therefore I didnt read threads regarding FA. But, since the opportunity presented itself, I just wanted to confirm how FA worked. Im not unobservant, I just didnt know how it worked.</p>
<p>I requested a viewbook from Andover a few weeks ago and I haven’t gotten it. Also I didn’t get one from the Governor’s Academy, or Taft. Most schools just sent me the old one. But Taft sent me a letter saying that they would send me the new viewbook once it became available.</p>

<p>No, it is better to schedule them early so you have first picks for times and dates, especially if you want a saturday. </p>
<p>Some schools actually run out of time slots by December.</p>
<p>All of my daughter’s are already scheduled! I needed specific dates.</p>
<p>I’m waiting to find out my sports schedule to shedule appts. i think i might schedule a few definite one though, like PEA and NMH. I’m still considering HK but am still wary.
I’ve yet to compile a whole list though.</p>
<p>What information do you need to give over the phone to schedule the interviews? Name, grade applying for? anything else? hometown or school coming from?</p>
<p>It is pretty much the same information you have to put on the inquiry form (basic information about yourself, school, phone #s, etc.) I really don’t know why they need the information if you have already inquired, they should just be able to pull up your name and have it all handy but whatever.</p>

<p>Oh gosh… I am def not looking forward to it. I have a class with my older brother. 
He is a senior, and very… rambunctious. He can’t wait to embarrass me. I also got all of his old teachers, meaning they’re going to automatically hate me!</p>
<p>Thats horrible! Well, it could be worse, but still! That’s no fun. Since hes a senior, maybe they have forgotten about your brother’s behavior. Your brother couldn’t have had that bad of an impact on the teachers!</p>

<p>@bamagirl… Oh no!! That sucks. It’s like in Diary of a Wimpy Kid. But don’t worry, unless they’re the teachers are the kind of people who never forgive or forget, they’ll like you just as much as they hated your brother (if you’re really good!).</p>
<p>We have hospitality and tourism together! I have NO idea how I even got that class, I didn’t sign up for it! I signed up for French 2, but one of our French teachers left last year, so there’s no room for underclassmen. I mean, me and my brother are best friends… just not in school. haha
Trust me, they’ll remember him! He had chemistry only last year, and got kicked out of class on the first day of school. True story.

<p>I got my first school package today! I was so excited to see it on my desk. I never get anything in the mail so it was quite unexpected. I thought it would take a month or two to get here!</p>
