Application denied. Should I give up?

Ohio State: “We regret to inform you that you are not eligible for admission to the Columbus campus. Your application is being processed for your alternate choice campus.”

I also found this line on their website:

“Students not eligible to directly enroll in the College of Engineering may enroll in Science and Technology and Environmental Exploration”

Well the college of engineering is what I applied for. If I hadn’t applied for the college of engineering would I have had a better chance? Did I completely screw myself? Is it too late to try to change anything?

You should contact admissions and ask them. But if you want to be an engineer, then you need to think about what is most important to you.
