Application Dilemma -Math IC or IIC-

I have...

Math IC 740 (94%)
Math IIC 800 (91%)

My IC's percentile is higher than IIC's even its actual score is low.
Do colleges look at the percentile or the score?

Thanks!

Send in the IIC.

An 800 on IIC shows that you have mastered higher-level high school math, while the 740 on IC shows that you have mastered basic high school math.

If you had a choice I'd say send the Math 2, but colleges will see them both on your score report.

When did you take Math IIC?
I got an 790 (91%ile also)

If you are a 2010'er, then send your IIC score, its valued more

just wondering, does it look bad to have 790 (89%)?

^You're joking, right?

^Hahaha... Hopefully.

not really since 11% of ppl did better..and all freshman should get 800s...

/sarcasm

hi anhtimmy, i took IIC this june, and im 2009'er
btw, i took IC in june last yr.

The Math IC percentile is only higher because the all the non-retarded people take Math IIC. Same thing goes for the Calc AB and BC exams. A 5 on the BC is not worse than a 5 on the AB just because of the lower percentile. All smart people take the harder exam, so the percentile is bound to be lower.
