application fee was refunded?!

<p>My D applied in mid-October, with the $65 application fee paid by credit card at that time. All of her required stuff (test scores, LORs, transcripts, etc) were submitted in October. The status check confirms everything received and application "completed".</p>

<p>To my surprise, Maryland refunded the $65 fee back to my credit card yesterday. Does anyone know what's going on? We didn't apply for any kind of fee waiver (not even aware if such a thing exists). We are OOS</p>

<p>Same thing happened to me! I got accepted about 4 weeks ago and they refunded two days ago.</p>

<p>@ Schland - for what term were you accepted 4 weeks ago? (Spring 2014 or Fall 2014?). I didn’t think the acceptances went out until January for Fall 2014.</p>
