I submitted my USC application by the deadline, Dec 1; however, I believe my school counselor messed up and mailed my transcript on Dec 2 or 3. I believe this automatically knocks me out of the scholarship consideration for Trustee/Presidential etc, but would I still be able to receive the scholarship for Nat Merit finalists?

yes, if you are accepted and name USC as your first-choice school by the deadline, you will receive the NM Presidential Scholarship.

I doubt that would have disqualified you for scholarship consideration. USC has to take into account the fact that mail can get delayed, or even lost. As long as the Part II Application was in by the 1st, you should have been fine. (Correct me if I’m wrong)

But as alamemom said, you’ll get the Presidential for NMF’s. I’m pretty sure that all applicants, scholarship or regular deadline, get that scholarship as long as they’re NMF.

I agree with you BigKev. I don’t think my son’s recommendations were in by Dec. 1st and he is a Presidential Finalist.
