Application Issues

Greetings,
Today, I finally submitted my CA application to Cornell University (Engineering), but, in a couple of hours, I suddenly realized that I had made several mistakes in it:
1. I listed Cornell School of Engineering both as my alternate and primary college.
2. My counselor has not sent my teacher recommendations yet, as well as his own evaluation.
3. I learnt today that I could take the SAT in January (I will do that, for my 680 for SAT Math Level 2 frightens me). However, I did not point out in my application that I was going to do that.
How severe are they? What do you think?

You could probably call admissions and let them know you mistakenly added an alternate, and I doubt that would be a problem.

Contact your counselor ASAP for your letters and evaluationsn

680 on math 2 for engineering is very low, so if you can, retake it.

The deadline does not apply to your school’s supporting documents. Your GC can submit them after the deadline. You don’t need to tell Cornell you are re-taking standarized tests. If the scores are sent before the deadline, adcoms will consider them.

oldfort, Renomamma,
Thanks a lot for your replies!
