Application Question! (Special Talents/Skills)

Hello!

I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered in another thread.

It might seem minor, but does the Georgetown application require you to write in complete sentences for the portion that asks about 'Special Talents/Skills'?

I realize that AdCom probably doesn't mind either way, but I'd rather just be sure about it.

Thanks! (:

If it required it, it would probably say so. I wrote mine in complete sentences because that, for me, was the most effective, personal way to communicate my talents/skills. Make sure you take advantage of this part of the application. It can help you stand out.

Alright, thanks (:
Sorry, just last-minute worries!

I definitely plan to! I figured a good way to go is to not simply list generic skills? It sounds more like a way to get to know the applicant rather than a laundry list of talents, or so I’m presuming.

I don’t know exactly. I put that I was athletic, a musician, good speechwriter, good with math & numbers, etc. Mine were kind of “generic,” but be creative.

I wrote mine in verse for my prose is quite terse…

I put down very anecdotal things about myself that I felt would add another dimension to my application and which highlighted my personality.
