I applied for the Fall term of 2012. On my UCF acount, my application status says that they are still looking over my application. They have been looking over it for about a month now and I'm kind of nervous. Can I re-apply to the Summer term?? If i got accepted into Fall and Summer term could I choose one?? What should I do? ;(

If you send in a reactivation form for the summer term then you will only be looked at for summer, and not fall. What are your stats? That will help to give further advice.

I have a 4.2 gpa
ACT 21

Throughout my highschool career I have played varsity football, track, and wrestling.
I have many community service hours with my church. (We go on missions around the state of Florida, and out of state) I have also had two jobs during highschool.

Should I wait and see if I get into Fall? Apply for summer??? (I also heard that if they dont accept you for fall then they automatically apply you for summer??)

any feedback would help!

I don’t know the truth to that! My brother was rejected for fall, and though he had good stats for summer, then straight out rejected him. Great GPA, which is fall material. However, the ACT…that’s the summer fit, right there. I would email them, and possibly reactivate it for summer term, to increase your chances of acceptance. I wish you the best of luck, hope to see you there!:)

You should send in the reactivation form because your ACT is low even for summer. There have been people denied with 23-29s but some accepted with 22-27s. It seems like it’s so random at this point. But just to be sure you should send in the reactivation form for summer. You have to take a summer term anyway to graduate, so might as well get it over with now. Your GPA is solid, along with your ECs so keep that up! Good luck!! :)

how do i send in a reactiviation form for the summer?

go on your myucf account and there should be a link for the reactivation form

In all honesty, I would just call admissions or email them and ask if they have all the information needed to be reviewed. Also, the head of admissions at the Open House said to apply for Fall because then they look at you for both semesters. If you apply for summer, you can only be looked at for summer. I think you’ll be fine! Just make sure they have all of the necessary documents and try to keep your sanity! (Waiting was no doubt the hardest thing in the world!!)
