Application Question

Good evening all, I got an email today from Tulane telling me that today is the application deadline. I decided to take a look and discovered that this school I had never even glanced at is very nice.

My dilemma is this: if I apply to Tulane with the CommonApp before midnight tonight, but my high school does not send their documents until tomorrow after I inform them of my decision to apply, am I still ok?

Have you used the CommonApp yet? Because if you have already used it to apply to other schools then your teacher and guidance conselor rec's are already on there and you can have them electronically sent tonight when you finish the Tulane portion of the CommonApp. Good Luck!

My school sends in all of their stuff including teacher forms by mail... :(

I applied via CommonApp and ordered my SAT scores to be sent to them. Tomorrow I will talk to my guidance counselor I suppose...

I'm pretty sure but not 100% positive. Worth a try though.

Most schools want your portion of the application in by the deadline. They understand that you dont have total control over what someone else does, so are a little more lenient with that. That said, I'd have your school and CollegeBoard fast track your supporting documentation. Good luck!

I've heard that they might stop reviewing apps in mid January. Is this true?

It possible considering how many were admitted ea (especially with big merit bucks) but i really have no idea.
