<p>What do you have to do that on the common app for. If you have any problems, then send your common applications seperatley instead of doing so all at once.</p>

<p>ED1 and ED2 have different deadlines. What I would do is send CMUs ED1 application (before the deadline, of course) and wait for a response. If rejected/deferred then send the ED2 application. I'm pretty sure you hear back from ED1 before the ED2 deadline.</p>
