<p>Once MyUCF says that your application is currently being reviewed, how long does it usually take to have a decision? Also, will you get an email when your application status changes, or do you have to keep checking the website?</p>
<p>You will receive an email, or you should, at least. There’s no knowing when you will receive a decision. Depending on the strength of yours stats, it could be a few weeks, a month, two months, three months. There’s been members waiting longer, who are still awaiting an answer.</p>
<p>Okay, thanks! I’m hoping it wont be <em>too</em> long, I just heard back from the theatre department and really want to reply confirming my enrollment :)</p>
<p>When it switched from “waiting to be reviewed” to “now in review with the admissions committee”, under the required documents section it listed AP transcripts (it only listed my regular high school transcript before). Do these need to be sent in before they can make a decision?</p>
<p>We never got an email. It was on the website first, and then about a month later we got a letter in the mail…I think we got the letter only because I emailed them asking for the “official” letter of admissions.</p>

Varsity crew for 3 years, NHS, flute for 8 years, yearbook editor, lots of volunteer hours, very involved in high school and community theatre for 3 years. All honors and AP classes. Any idea how long it might take to hear back?</p>
<p>I heard in about 2-3 weeks with MUCH LOWER stats than that. I’m sure you’ll get in, possibly with an honors app too. I applied in early October, when there weren’t as many applicants. </p>
<p>Keep checking myUCF, that’s the first place they’ll tell you anything 
My letter came about a week after acceptance.</p>

<p>Awesome! My older sister really enjoys computer/math stuff (actuarial science major!). I dont think I could handle a computer engineering major - never really tried it, but I think it would be a bit too intense for me xD</p>
<p>haha, I’m sure that’s the point of gen eds, so you can have fun learning about something without worrying if you’re going to look like an idiot for not knowing anything about the subject I think I have to take that one as part of my requirements. </p>

<p>Wow cool! xD I’m in the National Beta Club, and it’s the first time we’re doing a skit so it’s really fascinating xD and challenging to build our very first set albeit low key. xD</p>

I’ve been looking at UCF extracurricular stuff and I’m thinking about trying to be part of UCF project spotlight… expose myself to the theatre stuff. I can’t wait for college! Also to pursue my many interests. xD</p>
