I’m almost done with my applications/writing supplements, when should be an optimal time to submit?
Earlier is better right, but how early? If I submit before August is over, would that look good?

It depends on the school. If you’re applying to schools with rolling admissions, the sooner the better! If the school doesn’t have rolling, I don’t think that there is much of an advantage to sending in your application in August vs. October, most schools say it doesn’t matter as long as you meet their deadline.
Personally, I would want to wait to submit my application AT LEAST until school starts and I can have my counselor look over everything. Use this time to edit, re-edit, and edit again! Make sure all your essays are as good as they can be before you submit your applications because for most schools it really doesn’t matter when you submit as long as you meet their ED/EA/RD deadline. @CDOESenior2k16 Thanks for the advice! I go to a really big HS, so my counselor doesn’t read over everything, they barely get the rec letters done fast enough :)>-
I’ll try to get everything done, then edit a couple times, then edit some more, then I’ll submit around mid-October.
