Hi everyone, I could use some assistance. I already applied to Muhlenberg College through the common app website. I went onto the muhlenberg website to see if I could check my online application and. you can. I tried to check it but, unfortunatly I cannot. I do not have a muhlenberg I.D or password. Is there anyway to check it without having those? I tried searching so I can learn if I may recieve an I.D or password. I came up empty handed on that search. I would love some help. Oh, and I would like to know my chances of getting into this college for those who have gotten it. I have a 3.5 GPA (accumulated) a 610 Math , 590 Reading, and a 470 writing score. Im actually a great writer, but the College Board threw the score into my face saying not to us you're not. I am an editor on my school's yearbook so I cannot be too bad of a writer to recieve such a low score. Any assistance would be appreciated.

markopolo94-Good luck with your application. My dd applied ED at the beginning of October and about a week or so after she applied she recieved, in the mail, a card giving her a user name and password to check the status of her application.

So, to answer your question, you will need to wait to get the information mailed to you from Muhlenberg.

Good luck.

Markopolo - You probably need to accept that your English skills are not as strong as you think. You are coming across a little like the American Idol contestants who don’t sing so well, yet accuse the judges of not recognizing their talent. That approach will not get you far.

Even if you scored a 600, it would be better for you to acknowledge that you need to improve your written English skills and not dismiss the College Board. Most colleges do believe that the SAT provides a decent measurement of standard written English. You could also try the ACT if you think you did not test well on the SAT, or you could apply without submitting your SAT score to Muhlenberg.

Regarding chances, with your scores and grades you need something extra to get into Muhlenberg. With the data you provided, Muhlenberg is probably a reach school for you.

I wouldn’t listen to worldspirit…You stand a good chance!

Muhlenberg isn’t Harvard. It’s just a small school, that emphasizes the theater arts

Ouch. Criticism accepted. I admit that I was a little harsh in my assessment. Marcopolo’s Math and Reading scores can hit the mark for Muhlenberg. Just don’t insist you are a great writer and not be able to demonstrate that. Be sure to find something else to add to the package.
