I applied to RIT as a second year transfer student, and got accepted for their game programming CS degree. I was very surprised when the admission people told me their game dev program was highly competitive in the nation. I looked it up and their game design was ranked top 5 in the country by princeton review. I also got accepted into Becker College which ranked 2nd on the list. However I am pretty sure Becker doesn’t have a strong CS offering. This begs the question how competitive is the program comparing to UPenn’s DMD and Northeastern’s CS/Media Arts? After aid I will be paying around 20~26k per year btw.
