Applied ED, but got nervous after going through all those reaction videos on U2

I felt pretty composed just before then. And all those rejection and acceptance videos on YouTube kind of freaked me out and got me pretty nervous. I am so worried about my application now. Anyone chance me? I really appreciate it.

Why penn: I wrote a diary in 2017 when I suppose I will be studying in Penn. it is pretty much like a retrospect of my passions to learn, discover, and make a change in my high school days and penn days. Besides, I quote Einstein's words on Quad's bathroom door and connect it with my understanding of Penn's undergrad education.

Thx a lot.

You have an amazing resume. Stop stressing over this and enjoy your Senior year of high school. You have a great shot at Penn, and if not you will end up somewhere really impressive.

Not very good SATs…lol.

^^^are you trying to make the rest of us feel bad? Haha

Humblebrag much? Better watch your shoulder and elbow. You might strain them patting yourself on the back so hard

Thanks a lot guys! I never intend to make anyone feel bad. I just stressed out. Penn is an awesome school so the result can be pretty unpredictable. I saw a guy applying to 14 schools and got 11 rejection letters, and it just freaked me out.
Anyone know when will the decisions be released?

Last year they were released on 12/15 so I think it’s safe to assume around that date.

Unfortunately, none of us here can help your anxiety. In fact, asking for opinions on college confidential will only increase your anxiety. I wish I had stayed off of college confidential and relaxed more when I was applying to colleges last year. Your resume looks like the resumes of the students who are typically accepted, but it also looks like the resumes of the many deserving candidates who were rejected/deferred/waitlisted. There is literally nothing to do at this point but wait for your decision in mid-December, and be realistic about your chances. Hope for the best, but expect the worst. I’m not saying this because you are a weak candidate. I’m only saying this because these schools have gotten so ridiculously selective.
