Applied ED. Chances?

Hey,
I applied last week to Hopkins ED, for international relations/pre-law. You're probably saying what the hell but they have a very good program in each and after visiting I knew thats where I wanted to go, lmk what you think my chances are, here are my stats:

SATs: 2000 (730 CR, 700 W, 570 M)
I took them again in October and waiting on the scores, hopefully the math goes up.

SAT IIs: World History 770, Literature 660

AP US History: 5

GPA: 90/100 UW (no weighted GPA), ranked 122 of 697

Wrote what's been called a standout essay by everyone I've shown it to (by people at Princeton and a former admissions rep from Yale)

I have a great rec from my history teacher for two years and possibly one from a former alumnus who had me who was a pitching great for them.

ECs and awards:

National Honor Society
Boys State
Keystone Club President, VP, Sergeant-at-Arms
350 plus volunteer hrs
Boys and Girls Club of my town's Boy of the Year award
Naval Academy Summer Seminar, Most Outstanding Candidate

My own production company (I produce and DJ and am a recognized artist)
Worked as a counselor, maintenance, lifeguard, and food preparer/server at a local bagel joint

So what do you think? The essay had to do with my music

btw, important swim team Captain this year, All-County and All-League honors, was rookie of the year

bumpp…

Wow, those are some impressive stats…
Hmmm, your ECs are really diverse and the progression of leadership is very present. I think(though my opinion matter not) you are a very good candidate for John Hopkins :stuck_out_tongue: You will sure give those admission officers something to think about! Although your SAT II English score is a bit on the weak side…but everything else you have certainly helps overlooking that!

ED chances: Pretty decent, but know that you are going up against lots of people just like you…

Nobody really knows. But what is true is that in the most recent freshman class, 87% of freshman were in the top 10% of their class (this is for enrolled students, it’s likely to have been in the ninties for admits). Average GPA of admits was a 3.87. Your GPA, rank, and math score are defintiely on the low side and this does not bode well, but your ECs might help. It would help if you were recruited for swimming.
