Applied for MS got into PhD?

<p>Hi,</p>

<p>As the title says I applied to my top school for a MS but got in for a PHD with a stipend and everything...Is this some sort of mistake? I'm not sure i'm fully committed to do a PhD program, so I don't want to accept it because of that...on the other hand if I email them would they still accept me for MS but strip me of all the funding?</p>

<p>Sounds like a good opportunity. I would advise against turning it down right now. You can always drop out with your M.S. if you find out that a PhD is not for you.</p>
