applied math major short on time and could use some pointers

I am now half way through junior year at a decent school (by CSU standards anyway). Majoring in apllied and comoutational math with a Chinese minor, about a 3.5 gpa. I will have to work once I graduate (a semester early if I dont f anything up), but lack experience in anything professional. Right now, I work at a vineyard part time. Internship applications are ending soon.

With my background and lack of free time, what do you think I should do to maximize my chance of success at a worthwhile place? I would like to go to grad school a couple years down the line. Tips are especially valued from people who graduated from a similar major and are now working.

Thanks!

Ps… my primary interest is in algorithms and ai. I would like an internship which can help get a desired career going. Thanks again!

Try putting this in the math and computer science section. I think you’ll probably find good advice there.
