Applied to Stern, no University Reception day letter. Does this mean I was rejected?

<p>Crap.. Anyone else apply to Stern and get the letter? Anyone with 2300-2400 SAT and 4.0 uw GPA apply to Stern and * not* get it? oh noes.. I think I may be regretting the fact that I checked CC's NYU board :(</p>

<p>ps maybe its cuz i'm from southern california? Mail might take longer to arrive.. i unno i was prolly rejected :(</p>

<p>I'd hold out until Monday, considering mail and such. I'm in the same boat currently. Heres to hoping for an awesome saturday or monday.....</p>

<p>yea...first class mail....will take more than one day to get to So-cal.....you should be receiving it today...or even Monday....so don't freak out....if the aforementioned numbers are yours....I WOULD NOT WORRY!!!</p>

<p>i am really afraid...I didn't get any invitation and I live in NJ....so many people already got it....I feel so bad because Stern was my first choice....and now I think I am rejected...</p>

<p>Actually those weren't my stats sorry if that's how I came across. The purpose of asking that was to see if anyone having those stats (i.e. expecting to get in) didn't get the invitation yet, then I might feel reassured.</p>

<p>my SATs were 2000 (740M, 640V, 620WR), SAT 2's were 800 on M2, 750 Physics, and gpa uw was 3.6 something. weighted it was 4.18... good recs and essays</p>

<p>yeah i didn't get an invitation, 4.6 GPA, IB top 6%, SAT I (m-800 r-670 w-720) awesome essays, recs and ec's....who knows.</p>

<p>i didnt either.... 4.6 gpa 3/300 SAT 1 (780 M 760 V 720 W) good essays, recs.... amazing ec's... very dissapointed</p>

<p>Why does NYU cause confusion and not send out the acceptance packet first?? Oh what can you do. I wouldn't give up hope you guys, I'm in Tennessee and just got mine today.</p>
