Applied too late for a school with Rolling Admissions?

I applied to Pitt in early December, and the school exercises Rolling Admission. Could applying this late really hurt my chances of admission at this school?? I don't have absolutely stellar stats but I am a decent student with a good (but not exceptional) GPA and SAT scores. Im also a URM

^ also OOS

Out of state doesn’t matter at Pitt (It’s not technically a state school). No, applying before the January 15th deadline at this point will not hurt you… If you had waited 'til January 13th, say, then it might effect your decision but applying over a month in advance will not harm you (assuming of course your statistics are at or above what is expected of admitted students).

It may negatively impact chances at getting merit aid, but admission will not be affected.

@ivyhopes12 actually, as long as the application is received before Jan 15th, FA is not affected

@Smithg1227 Yeah, the deadline is Jan. 15, but earlier application submission will yield better results. I submitted in October and got full tuition, some of my similarly qualified friends are only getting half tuition at this time, and waiting any longer will only further limit this.

@Smithg1227‌ @ivyhopes thank guys, just got my acceptance email/video today!!
