Hello,
If I apply regular decision to, say, MIT, but submit my application early (early November), will I receive an earlier notice of acceptance or rejection?

Thanks

All who apply regular admission to MIT are notified of decision at same time on same designated day in March. If US resident, you can apply early action by Nov 1 and get a decision in mid-December.

For schools with “rolling” admissions, a form of regular admission where the college provides a decision as applications are received, you can get decision within several weeks of when you apply. Most high ranks are not that but instead issue all decisions on a single date.

So I shouldn’t worry about getting a letter of acceptance before January 1st from a school that doesn’t have rolling admission, assuming I applied through Regular Decision?
Thanks for your answer.
