<p>My friend is applying as an international student and is going to use the common application. He lives in the US and attended hs here and is very good in english. How does he apply to schools? is there a seperate common app just for internationals? also, does he have to take a toefl? He is fluent in english and is 99.9% likely to get a perfect score on TOEFL if he takes it. does he gave to take it? On some college sites, it says TOEFL required of non-resident alien applicants. does this mean he is exempt from it?</p>

<p>Most colleges require certain score on SAT CR, if he makes about 600 on CR section, he doesn’t have to take the TOEFL.</p>

<p>I am an international student and my school allows me exemption from the TOEFL by providing a letter of English proficiency with my application.</p>

<p>i go to the same school as my friend which is in nj. he attended all 4 years . he got WAY above 600 lol and gets As in almost eveyr class with the exception of a few bs…</p>
