Would applying for GT at the Oct. 31 deadline increase my chances of getting into Georgia Tech? I won't get my senior grades by then.
Do you think that will hurt me since I'm taking 6 APs this year?
Should I go with the early deadline or stick with the regular Jan. 15th deadline?
Also, if I'm not really competitive among the pres. scholarship group, will I be rejected right there and then, or will they put me down with the regular admissions stack to evaluate?
Thank you.

Ok, first of have you visited GT? Have you seen the area around the campus? GT isn't that prestigious to tell you the truth. It's my last resort even though I live in GA. Personally, I'd not go to GA tech, but that's just me. Their classes ARE hard, so if you ever want to transfer i wouldn't consider it unless you work your butt off.
Taking 6 Aps won't hurt you. Why would it?
Well I can't say if you should apply ED or RD.. you need to give me your SAT scores, but their acceptance rate is super high anyways. Unless you have a horrible SAT score i doubt you'll get rejected. if you have atleast a 2000 i think you are pretty much in.. maybe not. I'm planning to apply there, but I'd just have to say if you make it into any of the ivy leagues or higher universities, please attend there.
This was a bit biased, but don't worry about your admissions. It doesn't seem that hard. Many kids from our TINY school go there.
