Since Brown is my top choice, I will definitely apply early decision there. However, it’s still likely that I wouldn’t get in early. I also like Michigan and UChicago, which offer non-restrictive early action as opposed to early decision. Could I apply early to all three of these schools? The early decision policy makes it sound like I can only apply early to Brown, even if the other schools are non-binding.
You can do Michigan. ED does not restrict EA at publics. Not sure if Brown allows EA at another private.
I believe you can apply to all three and that’s fine by the rules of each school, but if you get in ED at Brown you’re obligated to go there.
From what I understand of the Brown policy, you can apply to Brown ED and also to EA programs as long as it’s non single choice EA (which rules out HYP and Stanford).
Check the rules on the web site or each ED or EA school you are considering applying early at.
