Applying for fall of 2010 Cornell

Well, it could be because NOBODY applied except him??!!

And I’m glad, there’s only ONE comm major applicant thus far. HEH

no, west campus is close. that’s where you WANT to be. the transfer-only house is schuyler and is in bumbleff.

boysdontcry - there were 50-something applicants and i’m a girl  i just happen to be wonderful lol

hyperlite - dont worry. there’s more space in the fall. spring admission is weird

WHAT?! Oh no! You are wonderful. 50 applicants!

And you’re a girl. Sheesh. All this time I assumed you were male. BAH

I just call the undergraduate admission. They told me that they received all the documents. However, I receive the email from Cornell asked me to fax my missing documents. What should I do? On the self service page, I only miss instructor evaluation.

the update is actually earlier than last year + no official deadline extension like last year. i think CALS applicants will have the results next week!

THINK. I hope you’re correct.

I’m not ready for my decision…I’m too scared :/

I think better to know it know and get it over and done with.

Hey guys, thank you all for letting me and others know about the self-service update. My checklist has all green checks on it so I should be good. They haven’t sent in my application for review yet though.

Anyway, I know someone wanted to know the stats for admissions for last year, I don’t know if this was posted here before but I did a search of the link on CC and it didn’t come up so here’s last year’s admissions stats for transfer students:

They have more detailed stats, you can check them out here:

Good luck to all those who applied to Arts & Science and Engineering! :I

Guys do you think I could call up CALS or any other school and ask them how many people they accepted for my specific major?

I wonder how many of these were gts…

I wouldn’t call and ask them for one they may not be looking for a specific number. It also may be that they can’t or won’t tell you, and it may annoy them.

I don’t think these include GT. I don’t know if these are the stats for GT:
http://dpb.cornell.edu/documents/1000149.pdf

It says “Contract Total” so that can either be GT or early decision, I don’t know. ;/

Someone answer my query please, I want to call Cornell up tmr.

No don’t call. I don’t think they will have specific stats on hand. If they had any stats on that it would probably be on that website. You’ll probably just annoy them but then again… It won’t hurt. If you do call ask about CALS: Biological Sciences  lol.

isn’t contract division for the colleges with NY contracts? I know ironicallyunsure had mentioned transfer #s were really inflated b/c of gts. Those #s feel more promising if not though (for humec at least)

hyperlite: yeah I guess so because it lists CALS, Human Ec, and ILR under it, all which I’m assuming are SUNY schools.

so I conclude that yes, GTs are included in those stats. They don’t say how many though.

haha. Those are not SUNY schools…

PS. FOR CLARIFICATION- IRONICALLYUNSURE IS NOT WONDERFUL. AT ALL.

Guys what is this checklist some people are talking about? All my page says is forwarded for review…
