Applying for parking... absolutely horrendous.

I have a job 1 hour and 30 minutes away from UCLA where I work 5 days a week so I knew before hand that I knew I needed a parking permit. I found out two weeks ago that I missed the first deadline because I didn't have the job back then so I figured I could just use the first come first serve applying route, (Sept 30, 10 AM) and just get my permit that way.

NOPE

The entire UCLA parking website was completely down or unresponsive for 30 straight minutes after the applying process, and when I could FINALLY get into the website, there was a message stating that all the permits were sold out. So extremely frustrating. I know this kinda thing is old hat for schools as gigantic as UCLA, but still, I absolutely hate it. Now I have no choice but to pay the ridiculous single entry fees.

/end rant

Anyone have a parking spot they can sell me for fall quarter?
I just prefer that it is close to campus.

As do I, dankkchris, but I’m pretty sure these kinds of selling/buying posts are prohibited.

You can sometimes make that transaction on Craigslist guys… but not here.

Also, it’s sometimes possible to rent a parking space from a nearby apartment building. Again, check Craigslist.
