I'm planning to go to my local community college for summer/fall term and I would like to transfer to a university for spring term and UF is one of the schools on my list. Would i be considered a transfer student without an AA or a freshmen?

UF doesn’t accept transfer without an AA they probably tell u to stay n get ur AA.

If you plan on attending a community college, you need to get your AA degree in order to transfer to UF. There’s basically no way around this.

Thank you guys for answering (: I’ve spoken to my advisor at my community college about the possibility of leaving before retrieving my AA and like you guys have stated i wouldn’t be taken in as a transfer but I could try and apply as an incoming freshman for spring term 2012. i plan to continue my studies at my community college for summer/fall term and take a chance by applying for spring and if anything i would just stay and get my AA. what do you guys think of the this method?

Not gonna be possible, the deadline for freshman admissions for 2011-12 year was in November, late applications only accepted through March. If you applied as a freshman it’d be for the 2012-13 school year. The stats for freshmen is so high you’re much better off just staying at your CC and getting your AA then transferring. Did you graduate HS this year?

@hsb1104, yes I graduated this year.
