<p>OK - I don't mean to be a kill joy, but this whole argument needs to be clearly separated from BU. BU has a lot of opportunities for everyone to find their own niche yet the university doesn't back any of these groups - i.e. BU doesn't sanction or support this scholarship. It was a student group that put up the money.</p>
<p>There are a lot of unhappy people here on campus. Not to mention national media.</p>

<p>Behind the scenes, the university did alot with the media. I know that Dean Elmore (amazing guy) and the student union president were working long hours preparing a public response...</p>
