Applying from Australia

I just finished high school in Australia at the end of 2013 and I'm looking at applying for schools in Canada.

What sort of academic requirements are needed for schools like McGill and Toronto? Also what's the international student process like?

Cheers

You will need a percentage grade of 85-92% (depending on the program you are applying for) to be competitive.

Here is the link for U of T for international students - http://www.artsci.utoronto.ca/futurestudents/internationalstudents/admissions

And the link for McGill applications - https://www.mcgill.ca/applying/admissionsguide

what is the acceptance rate of McGill and UBC?

McGill 46%
Don’t know for UBC.

If you are above the cutoff percentages, you have a good chance. Here’s the link for McGill’s cutoffs. U of T and UBC will be similar. http://www.mcgill.ca/applying/admissionsguide/standards/ontario

Oops. That was the link for Ontario high school students, but you can find the links for other systems on the left side of that page.
