Applying past the deadline?

Hey, so I'm late in the college process across the board. I need moderate-difficulty schools, and I was interested in UF, especially with the honors program for the smaller class size.

As you can see, November 1 is long past. I haven't released a transcript there or sent any materials, either. They say applications after the date are taken on a by case basis, but I don't really know what that means. Should I bother applying, especially if I would want to be in the honors program if going there? Stats are not a problem, 1570/1600 2290/2400 SAT, ~92 unweighted GPA while taking some AP courses, pretty good profile.

Would the date count me out, or make my chances a lot lower? I would try to apply within the next couple days, and get my LoRs and transcript and scores as soon as possible

also: i’m out of state

Applying late and being OOS are absolutely going to hurt your chances.

Recalculate your GPA using the UF formula - academic classes only, no pluses or minuses, 1 extra point for AP/IB and 1/2 an extra point for Honors/pre-IB classes. Then post it here.
