I have taken three AP classes and several honors classes, and courses at my local junior college. I have been on the swim team for two years, my GPA is a 4.2, and I participate in two community service clubs at school. I am also a peer advisor, and I participated in an AIDS conference this past year. I attended a civic leadership summer camp this past summer through CTY, and I also tutor several fellow high schoolers on a regular basis, at no cost.
I am getting very stressed... at this point what are my chances of making it into Stanford---or another top college like UC Berkeley? Thanks!

What are your SAT/ACT scores

Especially since Berkley's admissions are formulaic, we need your SAT/ACT scores to chance you.

my SAT I score was a 2140, and my SAT II score was 2210...the scores for each part of the tests were about equal. i didn't take the ACT, though i probably should have.

??? SAT II scores are out of 800. I'm not too familiar with UC admission policies, but I think you have a fair shot.

He added up his SAT2 scores.

not enough info.

any more ECs?
at least UC doesn't consider race

In at berkeley.
As for Stanford..can't tell without your EC

for EC's, I have spent virtually all of my free time babysitting for a family that I've worked with for four years, and working at an after-school program for kids, because my family isn't exactly rich! hopefully colleges won't look down on me because of it, since i really needed to work.

i am white, which could work to my disadvantage... but since i am a female interested in subjects like physics and computer science (i took those as AP classes and did very well), i am hoping that they'll take this into account.
