<p>Apply where you want. Michigan is a safety/match for you (I don't see them not accepting you), Maryland and UMBC are financial safeties. You're fine at the bottom, for the top, apply where you want. You will have a spot at a school you can afford when April comes around.</p>

<p>Nope, sounds like a good list. 10 really isn't THAT much if you make sure you do all the applications on time. You listed 6 as safeties and 4 as reaches. You might want to put in a few matches. What do you want to study? I am sure some people here could give you a few options if you want them.</p>
