Applying to Cornell as a transfer

Hi all, I am currently a freshman at William & Mary and am looking to transfer to Cornell next fall. I was curious, for other transfers out there, if you have any specific advice and also did Cornell give you financial aid right away when you applied as a transfer. I am finding I can't afford the university I am currently at and have heard that Cornell has excellent financial aid. Thanks!

Do you know what school you are looking to apply to yet?

Arts and Sciences most likely. My bad for not including that, thanks stm167. I am undecided though, so if it is easier to apply to another school (allowing me to switch if I am accepted) that is also a possibility.

If you are undecided, it doesn't make sense to apply to anything but CAS, and admissions will have that same understanding. Be aware, however, that CAS is arguably the hardest college (statistically) to transfer to within Cornell. Other than that, I am going through the process right now, so I would just say to be sure you get all your forms in on-time/early.
There is a ton of information on Finaid both on the Cornell site and this website.

Well, thank you. And since you are applying, best of luck my friend!
