<p>My friend is applying to UCs, but in different majors. I know in the UC personal statement they ask you about your major choice, how should she write her personal and somehow connect all these majors together? She will start applying next Fall </p>

Operations Research Management Science - UCB
Applied Mathematics/Mathematics - UCD/UCI/UCLA/UCSD
Financial Mathematics and Statistics - UCSB
Business Management Economics - UCSC</p>
