i go to a public school in new york city
i've taken the sat 3 times already, and will be taking it a 4th time. so far my superscore is a 2020 but my reading score is only a 530.
my gpa is a 90
i've taken 4 ap courses
i've been on teams since sophomore year
i also have a lot of club history
i'm getting recs from teachers and couselor

are by chances big for nyu stern if i apply for ED

Mid reach, I think. 2020 is not that great, even on NYU standards, and your course schedule has the potential to be more challenging. If you don’t have a laundry list of ECs and decent recs/essays, I’d knock it down to a low reach chance there. Good luck!

Would taking it again to achieve a higher SAT grade be better? It’s my 4th time so would that be a problem? I’m in at least 5 clubs, been on 3 different teams, and I’ve done volunteering at 2 different places. I took 3 AP’s in the last year.

After 2 times taking the SATs…taking it more times basically doesn’t improve your score for the most part. Try making best friends with the ACT if you need a change in scenery.
