Applying To The Nursing Program

So I got into Rutgers University New Brunswick around Mid December, but I only applied to the School of Arts & Sciences to major in biology. I want to become a pediatrician, but I'm having second thoughts and now I'm looking at becoming an RN to be a pediatric nurse.

Will I be able to apply to the nursing program or is it too late?

Call and ask them.

One of my good friends is in the nursing program.

She is a freshman and she has told me that there is only about 20 other freshman nursing students.

It is EXTREMELY hard to transfer into the nursing program and the nursing students have set classes and will always get into the class (which, you might not be able to… putting you behind).

I would call and ask what your options are… as it is probably easier to get into the nursing program than to transfer.

Yeah unfortunately the Nursing Program is full/closed for application so now I either have to transfer or stick to my intended major =/
