applying to the UCs this novemeber

hello there, so i will b applying to UCB, UCLA, UCSD, and davis this november as a transfer student in aerospace engineering
As it gets closer i get more nervous about what the outcome will be. i would like to see what u guys think of my chances at any of these schols by giving my stats
- as of summer 07 i have 52 trans units( will have about 70 units when im done)
- average of 12-14 units / semester
- permamently had a job in a restaurant(25-30 hrs a week)
- GPA as of summer is 3.65( aced everything except C in phys mechanics, B in english 1b, and B in multiv calc
- great chances of getting a 4.0 this fall, and my gpa would go to about
3.70 -3.72
- already taken 2 GEs
-im also joining the men's soccer team at my school to play intercollegiate so i hope this gives me more chances
-some people have told me that since im from south america, i represe
nt a minority which being a plus
-i came to the US with my parents when i was 13
- lastly 2 show u where im at as far as curriculum goes. this fall im taking
third semester phys(light and heat)
chem 1a
linear algebra

& 3 units from soccer

i would greatly appreciate those who will take time to give me some feedback and/or advices as far as my chances of getting into these schools
thanks

ccc? major prep completed?

yes im from a CCC, and major prep has been mostly covered. it will defenitely be done before transferring

you have no chance at all

give it up and save yourself some app fees

I agree with lost....I see a large family + walmart in your future...

Sounds fine to me. My boyfriend got into UCB with a 3.75 and no extra-curriculars. Its so much easier coming from a community college. Just write great essays.

I applied to these 4 colleges last yr and got accepted by all of them.
I think your GPA is a little bit low to get into the UCB engineering department and your EC is not that outstanding.

My bf transfered to UCB to study computer science. I think his GPA is lower than yours, but again, his major is not engineering.

But since you mentioned that you were from south america, you may have a better chance.
