Applying to University of Pennsylvania ED Engineering with 1 Subject Test

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice if anyone can offer.

Would it be okay if I applied to engineering with a 780 on math 2? I don’t have any other subject tests and am out of time to study for the physics test.

Otherwise, my grades are near top of the class, ACT is a 34 with a 35 in math, EC’s are pretty decent (good amount of leadership; focused on service and STEM), and my rec letters are amazing.

@johnnyiscool The ED deadline was a couple of days ago, you haven’t applied yet?

Yes, @Penn95, but the subject test is tomorrow – I’m just wondering how big of an impact it will have if I just send in my 780 on math

Yea send it and then send the second one afterward when you take it tomorrow; They will receive those scores in time.

@johnnyiscool having 1 subject test instead of 2 could hurt you, just how much noone really knows. There will be hundreds if not thousands of a=other applicants with similar or better profiles than yours who have two subject tests.

If you feel like you can get at least a decent score, then I d say send it. if you are so unprepared that your score will be abysmal, then maybe you shouldn’t send. Inane case take it and depending how you feel you have done, act accordingly. Pretty sure you will know if you have already bombed it.
