Applying undecided means I can't do computer science?

I applied undecided for Stony Brook and Binghamton and didn’t realize that you needed a separate application for their computer science program. Is it still possible to do computer science?

You should act that question directly to the computer science department of the school. Call or email them.

Stony Brook describes what you need to do to get into the CS major:

Binghamton does not seem to have similar information on its web site. You may need to ask directly.

I updated the major I was applying to to Computer Science. The problem I saw was that the engineering program is on a track, and you can’t take specific classes within the computer science school that are required unless you are in the computer science major, so while there are “possibilities,” there is a structure in place to prevent those “possibilities” from occurring.
