<p>I think the middle 50% of act scores at my favorite college is a 29-32 or a 28-31</p>
<p>that being said, do you think its crazy that I applied ED to this school with a 26 act? =/ It is a small liberal arts school.</p>
<p>I don’t think it’s necessarily “crazy”, but at least from the ACT scores, it is a reach. I don’t know how your grades compare with this college; if the average accepted GPA is 3.5, and you have a 4.0, then you have a better chance; but if the average is 4.0 and you have a 3.5, it’s definitely a reach. However, do keep in mind that most LACs are less stat-focused than large universities, so your ACT score may not play as big of a part as it would at a large university.</p>
<p>It will help if you’re a male. Have you met your admission’s rep yet? My son got in at 2 schools with a lower ACT and I think it helped that he had nice “chats” with both admission’s reps. You may not make it in ED, but may get in RD, so don’t give up.</p>
