Apprehensive about upcoming schedule

So, I'm transferring from a community college to a four-year school this upcoming semester as a Microbiology major and my schedule is:

Gen Chem 2: 8-8:50 MWF (with lab on Friday)
Calculus I: 10:10 - 11:00 MTWThF
Biological Concepts: Ecology, Evolution and Genetics: 2:15 - 3:30 (with lab on Monday)
Intermediate Creative Writing: 12:45 - 2:00 TTh

BUT, I have an on-campus job lined up AND a research internship (with a 4 hour per week commitment minimum). And my main worry is that most of my transfer scholarships (that cover nearly all of my tuition which means it'd be a deep cut to lose) are renewable if I maintain a 3.5 GPA. I struggled considerably with Gen Chem 1 so the second semester course worries me especially after reading the professor's ratings on certain websites. Granted I passed the course, but not with the grade that I liked.

I'm not really sure what to do. I plan to talk to a counselor at orientation, but I'd like some advice. I'm really leaning towards dropping the Gen Chem course and picking it up in the spring when there's more professors teaching the class and I can get a feel for the campus, teachers, job, internship, etc. Although it'd put me off for a semester, but I don't think that'd be an issue because they're (in their words) "very lenient" when it comes to extending scholarship money when the student can demonstrate that they're taking courses towards their major and towards a timely completion. But it's still not a guarantee.

....so help!

How much time are the labs? You didn’t mention those parts- you only included the lecture parts from what I can tell.

The lab for Gen Chem 2 is on Friday from 12:45-3:35 and the lab for the Bio course is from 4:00-6:00 on Monday. I’ve always been pretty okay with labs. It’s just the lecture and the time commitment that worries me.

I was thumbing through my Gen Chem textbook from last semester (it was the same book they would’ve used for Gen Chem 2) and it looked like a bear. A big, boring bear.

I’d think you’re in class/lecture about average hours per week (like 12 hours), plus labs, but that’s good those aren’t a problem for you then!

If you’re wondering, I’m not actually in college yet, but will be this fall. I’ve been looking through my course catalogs a lot lately and trying to figure out classes to sign up for at orientation, and that seems to be average. Also, that’s about what I’ve heard, about 10-15 hours of class a week plus labs.

Forgot to mention one.
For my research internship we’re required to take a class too on Thursday from 6-6:50. I’ve had a lab intership for the past year, so that’s given me a bit of a hanf in early preparation. I like labs considerably more than lecture, anyway.

I think I’ll try to work with this for the first couple of weeks and withdraw if I feel mt GPA starting to slip beyond where I want it to be.

^That’s probably the best idea.
